Introduction

This user guide is prepared for Users of the Roof Asset Management (RAM) program.  The Roof Asset Management user manual explains how to use the RAM program.  Prior to reading this guide it is suggested the user read the information about the Roof Asset Management Program on the Mays web site (www.mces.com).  The link to Roof Asset Management can be found under Services on the Mays web site.  After reading this manual the user should be able to quickly access all roof information available for their facility.

Program Overview

The RAM program was developed to help facility owners and managers quickly access information about their roof systems.  The data stored in the RAM database is gathered from information obtained on-site and supplied by the facility owner.  This data is organized and made available through use of the Internet.  The user of this program can access the information through the Internet from any location in the world.  The program's database is updated regularly (Database is updated when the owner supplies new information, or if a new roof evaluation has been completed.) so the client has up to date information on their facility.  All information is securely protected by a password.  Each user is assigned their own user name and password to access the reports.
